One after another...

Mula2, si adik kene demam. Minah ni jarang2 nak demam sekali bila demam terus high fever due to tonsillitis. Merengek je..tu tak kena..ni tak kena. Badan dahla panas, nak sponging pun tak kasi...sib baik lepas makan antibiotic ok..alhamdullilah. Now, si abang pulak kena. adoi..sian anak2 mummy. Abang dengan batuk lagi..terpaksalah ponteng sekolah ye abang esok..abang bab makan ubat momantai...senang..yang adik masya allah..tapi bila maktok kasi..laju jek telan..sabarlah. Well, speaking of demam ni, teringat masa abang kene demam when he was around 1 yr +...kene hi fever, dahla, daddy was away most of the time..tinggal first time mummy ni terkial-kial..sampai abang kene admitted hospital due to tonsillitis but after that gigi sume tumbuh abis..kehkehkeh...abang dah dua kali admitted hospital due to hi fever..last one was during my early pregnancy with Hana.

Dengue fever on the rise

Wednesday evening, my younger brother Kenit was admitted to GHKL due to dengue fever. Now in Malaysia, it has become an epidemic and more severe cases can cause death(nauzubillah). Very unfortunately, Kenit has contracted the infamous fever and now his platelet is 17 which dropped from 21 when he was first warded. When we visited him yesterday, he looks very weak..and he has to eat only porridge since his gum is bleeding. Few suggested that he takes dates, isotonic drinks and crab soup regularly but still the platelet is not improving. Now we are trying to find the shoot of papaya tree, blend and consume, which supposedly will kill off the virus-bacteria. Insha allah usaha tangga kejayaan! Kenit, all the wishes are with you, speedy recovery! We all love u.

When he's down with fever...

27th & 28th October 2007

Last nite, after we came back from maktok's, i noticed that little ranger had a fever. checked his temperature..38....gave him neurofen at 11pm. put a wet towel on his forehead to reduce the temperature...he woke me up at 330am...gave him neurofen again to subside the fever..alamak nak makan spaghetti pulak subuh2 nih...oklah..mummy masak spaghetti o...he didnt sleep at all until 1030 am..i checked again his temperature and it was 39..omigod..panasnye...takleh jadi nih...siap2 gerak g dr v's at gleneagles. sampai sana, nora terus ambik temperature ..and still 39...aduila....but luckily he 's still active...kalau dah flat tu...hmmmm mummy yg dah tak tentu arahnya...masuk jek bilik dr v, check again n still 39...waduh...harus gitu terus kene cucuk dgn antibiotik n ubat dr v/s said that if the fever still at 38-39 tomorrow...we hv to bring him to the hospital to be warded..nauzubillahi minzalik...but come sunday morning...alhamdulillah..temperature maintain 37+ jek...aku pun x tido 2 malam dok monitor his temperature..
