Mummy: Owh...pet? What animal do you want for a pet? Dalam hati..adoilah janganla nak bela hamspter ke or any species yang sewaktu dengannya itu.



Little Ranger: He paused a sec and gave me a long look.."errrmmm..... I want a lion"


Mummy daah tegelak gilos sampai kuwar air mata...adeh..nak suruh kite sume jadik food lion ke abang ooii...ingat ni dalam cite Jojo Circus ke ade pet lion. Ngeah ngeah ngeah....pahtu terus sambung balik lipat kain baju berbakul itu...ish.

How to encourage "please," "thank you," and other nice words

Mommies out there, some tips to encourage our little ones to behave politely. Extracted from Babycenter.

Mummy : Preeettttyyy pleasseeeeeeee (sabar jeklah anak aku nih).

Ok, thank you sayang.

Little Ranger : You're welcome.

Everyone marvels at the child who says "please" and "thank you." But if yours is one who often forgets the niceties, you might be wondering what you can do to encourage her to say more of those pleasant words you long to hear.

Experts advise against taking the "What's the magic word?" and "Now what do you say?" approach most of our parents were so fond of.

If you don't want to come home to a kid who won't look up from the TV to say hello, the best approach is to set a good example. If you always greet the family and bid them goodbye, your kids will pick up on your habits starting around age 2.

When Mom comes home, for instance, Dad might give her a kiss and a hearty "Hello! How was your day?" When Dad's on his way out the door, Mom and the kids might give him a hug or say, "Have a nice day, Daddy."

"Please" and "thank you" are other words dearly beloved by parents. When you ask your child to come to dinner, add the polite words you'd like her to use: "Jeannie, please come to the table now." When she cheerfully shows up, tell her "Thank you for coming so quickly." Your modeling will help her learn this habit, and when you hear her saying "please," praise her for it.

Saying "thank you" is a bit slower in coming than please, but generally by age 4 or 5 your child will start saying it. It's helpful to gently remind her that people are more likely to grant her wishes when she asks for things politely and is grateful – and that it makes people feel good to be appreciated for what they do.

Another useful word – "sorry" – is perhaps the most important of all. But parents often overuse this word, says Betsy Brown Braun, author of Just Tell Me What to Say: Sensible Tips and Scripts for Perplexed Parents. Embarrassed over their child's gaffes, parents push kids to say they're sorry in the heat of the moment.

"It's far more important to teach empathy than to force a child to parrot hollow words," says Brown Braun. "Don't just start demanding that your child say sorry. Explain to him why what he did was wrong: 'See how sad that boy is that you took his car?' Then show him how to make it better: 'Should we give him his car back and bring him a tissue?'"

By age 4, many kids can:

• remember to say "hello" or "goodbye" to parents
• 
  
• sometimes say "please" and "thank you"

By age 8, many kids can:

• ask about a parent's day without prompting
• 
  
• say "thank you" and "please" reliably in most situations
• 
  
• say "I'm sorry" – and mean it

Once upon a time...

Teringat pulak kat Lil Ranger masa dia baby2 dulu..rindu pulak....ngam2 dia keluar ke dunia nih on his due date...170504 @ 3.8kg. Alhamdullilah...selamat Mummy lahirkan dia cara normal but ade gune epidural n forcep la..sebabnya lambat sangat my cervix nak dilate. Masuk hospital ahad malam...next day around 330pm baru beranak..so, doctor pun suggest ambik epidural takut i dun have the energy to push. Hmm...bila kene epidural tuh langsung la pulak tak rasa nak push..nurse cakap push baru push..tu pun tak rasa apa2..hopefully, this time Mummy dapat rasa yang betul2 natural..insha allah...gambar2 kat bawah ni sume gamba Lil Ranger masa dalam pantang. Macam baru jek rasa beranakkan dia...now his already 4 years old..n soo,n insha allah dah ada kawan bila balik rumah from school.....

International week...

Lil Ranger as an Argentina Goucho!

Well, this week 11th - 15th August, Lil Ranger's school is having an International Week for the students. Each student has to represent a country chose by the teacher. For our Lil Ranger here, he's gonna represent Argentina. Sama pulak dengan bestfriend dia si Aqil tuh.. elok sangatla. The students need to bring anything that relate to the country. Nasib baik Lil Ranger ada his Johnny, boots (walaupun x kene langsung dengan image gaucho..ade ke gaucho pakai boots askar?!? kehekehkh...its ok..for fun..) and poncho. Ingat nak suruh dia pakai fake moustache which he got from Shida for his birthday..tak nak pulak dia..kalau tak sure lagi happening..kehkehekh. Daddy dah print out photos relating to Argentina. Mamat ni memang overexcited gitu..tak sabar2 nak bawak pegi school. Actually, his turn is on Thursday. Every day represents different country. Sibuk nak bawak Johnny sume pegi school..aiyoo..sabar jeklah. We all ingat nak beli nachos la nanti n bring along together with his other props. Macam best jek kan..mummy laks over.

Ustaz kecilku..

Alhamdullilah...syukran..syukran...since dia dah start pergi school early this year..there's a lot of improvement. Ye lar dulu masa first time anto dia pegi school..mak aih..mcm nak berpisah Isabella gitu..kehekhek..teringat masa mummy first 2-3 weeks anto dia..tiap2 pagi dlm kete sure ade adegan nangis menangis...adeh...so furny that time. Cikgu2 tu pun mcm dah tak heran jek...btw, bukan I sorang jek yg nanges ok...(cheh2..ayat carik geng nangis...kehekehkhe) furthermore, i was in my first trimester ok....so, perubahan hormon lagi..(ayat sokongan gitu)....I like this school sbb dia balance...i mean in terms of dunia n akhirat la...now, lil ranger dah boleh hafal alfatihah, surah 3 Qul, doa makan..(before and after makan lagi...siap translation in english plak tuh)....n can do lots of things now comparing to kalau if he sttill stay wif the babysitter...n not to mention, his vocabs now lagi la bertambah-tambah. Nak2 pulak dah ade kawan2 kat school. Hmm...tu yg mulut dia bertambah lazer tuh.

K lah..mummy nak tido lar...actually now is 4:09 am..i cant sleep..now kene la tido..esok nak g keje..eh ape laks esok...kejap lagi...huwaaaa....

This was taken last year, when me and Lil Ranger tagged along with Daddy to Yokohama. Me and Lil Ranger stayed there for 15 days...i took 10 days off from my annual leave..n terus sambung cuti CNY. Pergh..kat sana very costly. Makan pun mahal..ape tah lagi kene carik yang seafood jek. Halal food outlet susah nak carik kat situ. Actually, we stayed in Kawasaki area..so, there's nothing much there. Kalau nak pegi tempat besh2..kenela turun naik train. Since, weekdays daddy has to go work, me n Lil Ranger sakanla jalan 2 orang. Ada satu hari nih, i took him to Kawasaki Zoo. Very adventurous la gitu..kehkehkeh..mana taknya...mummy dahla satu haprak pun x reti cakap Jepun..baca apetah lagi..kalau in Korean tu ampun la lagi. So, bila dah bangun tido...and makan sume...we all pun boarded la this bus to the zoo. Satu hal la pulak nak suh driver bus ni stop kan we all kat bus stop yang nak pg ke Kawasaki Zoo nih...kelakar betul masa nih..bila dah sampai kat bus stop tuh...signboard for the zoo pun xdek..or was it in Japs..coz i cant read it... terpaksa la beramah mesra dengan Japs housewives ni ngan anak2 depa....rupe2nya dorang pun nak g zoo gaks...alhamdullilah..ape lagi...ikut jekla dorang nih. Siap bawak bekal bagai macam nak picnic. Me pun tried to make conversation..but biasalah..mcm itik ngan ayam belanda cakap..kehkehe..sib baik yang sorang nih boleh converse in English a bit. Dia cite la..dia x penah sampai Msia lagi..tapi kat Spore dah penah g visit sedara dia. Sampai situ jek we all borak...sebab dah tak tau nak cakap mcm mana..kehkehekh...Nak sampai ke Kawasaki Zoo nih..masha allah...memang leh kurus tau..mana taknya..turun naik bukit..pahtu lalu housing area..memula ingat minah2 Japs ni tipu gua ke ape..tapi diorang pun steady jek jalan ngan anak2 masing2...sib baik weather was gud.. it was winter at that time. Bila dah sampai situ...we ols pun round2la dlm zoo tuh..alahai...kecik jek..tapi surprisingly...weekdays pun ramai orang datang tau. Ada yang datang for exercising...jalan2..n picnic. Yang si Lil Ranger ni plak sibuk nak suh carik Lion n Tiger. Penatla mummy pusing sane sini..rupenye memang takda pun binatang 2 ekor nih..sabar jeklah. After that, we ols pun balikla hotel..sib baik mummy ingat jalan nak balik..kehkehkeh..biasalah...im not good in directions...dahla tempat yang langsung xdek English signboard. Alhamdullilah selamat gaks we ols sampai hotel. Penat jangan cakapla....but it was an exciting and unforgettable memory.

Daddy ada baby ke???

Semalam Daddy fetched Lil Ranger from school around 2pm...kene jumpe Dr. Vernon sebab he's having cough n flu. Biasalah musim2 jerebu nihkan..especially kids mudah nak kene batuk selsema...n takut dapat demam tonsil pulak kalau tak pantau awal2. Pahtu, Daddy cite kat mummy conversation dia dengan his junior yesterday....

Lil Ranger : Daddy....saya nak bawak awak jumpa Dr. Aziz...(he's my gynae)

Daddy : kenape nak bawak daddy jumpe Dr. Aziz??

Lil Ranger : sebab nak suruh Dr. keluarkan baby from daddy's tummy......


muahahahahaha...gelak beso mummy dengo...kehkehkeh...bagi sesape yang tak paham tuh maknenye indirectly dia kata perut daddy tu beso mcm perut mummy dia..kehkehkeh..sabar jeklah.. apekah maksud anak kita tu daddy???

Snippets from last week....

Wah ada banyak nak cite and post but dunno where to start...after that BDK case, gua memang busy gila..oo by the way, after i lodged a report on BDK terus dapat prompt reply and action from the hotel 's management. Cayalah..tak sia2 api kemarahan ku meletus macam ledakan gunung berapi..muahahaha (gelak jahat jap...) Christina came over with Davidson to personally apologise and give a letter for Big J. Si BDK tu plak, the next day she called me up and say sorry. Nak jek gua anto Kungfu Panda ni kasi dushum..dushum kat dia..ahaks ahaks..

As for Little Ranger pulak, waaahh dia pecah record sey....2 hari berturut-turut dia layan tengok wayang...on Saturday pegi Pavillion tengok cite Hellboy 2 with Acu and Daddy...Sunday plak dia tengok Batman, Dark Night with me and Daddy. Pergh...iklan jap ek...Dark Night memang best..i mean the Joker really annoys me and Batman aka Bruce Wayne alamak..cair laks aku tengok dia..kehekhekhe...gatal laks mak buyung nih.

ala masa time g tengok cite Batman, mummy lupe nak snap pix la....adakah sebab sungguh teruja dengan cerita itu??muahahaha...tapi yang xleh tahan tu sbb cite tu 2jam 1/2 sampai naik kebas2 sume..sampai x larat nak bangun gitu..adeh.....sib baik ada Batman hensem..kuang kuang kuang...

Ni plak masa dorang balik from tengok cite Hellboy 2, mummy stay kat umah jek mase tuh..so, bila dorang balik we all g la try makan kat Old Taste Kopitiam nih. Kiranya dah lama gaks la dia operate we all jek baru nak try. Not bad la...kalau susah sangat nak g Old Town Kopitiam kat JJ Alpha Angle tuh...bolehla g sini...

Now, story about me plak...i think im too tired on Sunday and Monday (dahla sangkut traffic mase balik ..sib baik bwk auto)..so, on Tuesday and Wednesday i was on medical leave. Well, actually im supposed to meet up with Dr. Aziz for a weekly check up now since im already in 36 wks. The first question he asked me was... u dont look gud, r u tired ? sabar jeklah. mmg betul pun..and also im starting to have braxton hicks since last few weeks. biasalah dekat2 nak beranak ni uterus dah start practice for the real labour. aiyoo...sib baik dia check blood pressure and urine sume ok. mase dia tengah nak check baby's heartbeat..masa tu la gua kene false contraction. According to him, i might deliver two weeks ahead of the due date. mak aih...ni yang acik nervous nih. Masa 2 days i was on MC tuh boring siot..nak g jenjalan pun xleh..takut too much activities kang lagi cepat lak gua beranak nanti..so, memang betul2 rest and relax la gua kat umah. Nak update blog pun malas.

K, peeps, nak tido la pulak...daddy ranger tengah tunggu turn nak use pc. Selamat berhujung minggu...daaaaa...

Hah ni la dia kawan baik si Little Ranger, Aqil. He stays nearby our block. Dah nak masuk half a year pegi the same school baru we all discover ada classmate dia stay in the same compound gaks, bila dah tau they stay near to each other ape lagi la kan....Aqil yang normally will come by to our house..sometimes tu kitorang blm bangun pagi lagi dia dah panggil Little Ranger oo Little Ranger (ayook..terpecah rahsia bangun lambat during weekends..)

So, bila dah bertemu dgn kawan baik dia nih..ape lagi...ada jekla activity dorang ni kan. biasalah kids..mcm kita gaks bile jumpe kawan kite..tak hal dah jumpe kat opis...kat umah pun leh nak sembang sebakul lagi...mummy pun suke korek2 rahsia kat school dgn si Aqil nih. Dia kata..Little Ranger suka buat lawak kat school..sabo jeklah acik dengar...kuang kuang kuang...

(Nurin was his self-aclaimed girlfriend, they were in the same class before but she was transfered to another school which is nearer to her home)

banyak cekadak!! besar tungau dah menggatal...yang tak tahan tuh..he still remembers Nurin and still claim that Nurin is his girlfriend!! umur pun baru 4 thn nak pindah new school sbb nak dekat dgn awek..cizzz....but i tot it was soo funny..

Bulan february ni la yg paling menyedihkan...dahla pendek...pahtu macam2 hal jadik plak kan..ish..dugaan betul..i took a long holiday for cny break..yupp..even the chinese staff in my office pun x sepanjang cuti aku nih..kehkehkeh...last year during this same period i was having fun wif daddy n little ranger in Yokohoma... this cny holiday we all sume balik kg daddy...since dah lama x balik sana kan...n ape lagi...sebelum orang sume serbu balik kelantan we all pun pegi la serang rantau panjang..hmm...si kenit tu la yang mencukai lelebihnye...dgn school bag ben 10 lar...baju naruto lar...toys lagi..adeih...sume dia nak...kalau boleh satu rantau panjang tuh nak borong...sorry..mummy exaggerate lelebih laks..

pahtu bile came back from our long holiday, si kenit tu kene demam panas pulak...hi fever due to his tonsilitis. hmm this time siap kene hospitalize lagi..mummy la yg dok kat sepital dgn dia..luckily this time daddy was around..alhamdulilah dia stay there only 3 days..becoz dr V wanted to monitor his fever n tonsil whether dah subside or not..mummy yang flat gile..siap turun 1.5kg lagi..wooo sedih woo anak sakit...dgn penatnye..stressnye...tu yg tak selera makan tuh..yang penting anak kene sihat dulu. mintak2 after this dia dah tak kene demam yang mcm ni lagi..serik wooo....tapi mamat tuh yg x serik2..dok bantai ice cream la...slurpee la...hmmm..nak salahkan sape nih? sapa yg bagi dia makan?? aiyooo..

He's been pestering me to get him this watch quite a while already. before daddy came back, everytime after we reached home, he will go straight to his room and asked me..."mana jam ben 10 hariz"?? amboiii....and i will casually reply him..tunggu daddy balik k....and bila daddy dah balik...dia tanye lagi..adei..tuntut janji tul. actually we wanted to wait until january baru beli..tapi tiap2 ari dok tanye..sampai naik rimas laks...n also tak sampai hati...i still have vouchers..so lepas keje straight go to klcc pegi parkson. dah beli terus chow..takde melencong memane pun..not even ke toilet...sebabnya after magrib we all nak g kelana jaya..hantar atuk n uncle w laks. total time spent in klcc : 26 mins....parking dahla kene rm3 ..cheh.. ni sebab sayangkan anak la nih..
