Dengue fever on the rise

Wednesday evening, my younger brother Kenit was admitted to GHKL due to dengue fever. Now in Malaysia, it has become an epidemic and more severe cases can cause death(nauzubillah). Very unfortunately, Kenit has contracted the infamous fever and now his platelet is 17 which dropped from 21 when he was first warded. When we visited him yesterday, he looks very weak..and he has to eat only porridge since his gum is bleeding. Few suggested that he takes dates, isotonic drinks and crab soup regularly but still the platelet is not improving. Now we are trying to find the shoot of papaya tree, blend and consume, which supposedly will kill off the virus-bacteria. Insha allah usaha tangga kejayaan! Kenit, all the wishes are with you, speedy recovery! We all love u.

So peace and quiet

Office is so quiet today. Only few of us are working. Its so quiet until i was taken by surprise when i hear the phone ringing. LOL. The office is just like a ghost town! Its only 5 of us in the office out of 27 people! We all had lunch at Saisaki and shared our views on the current economic crisis, local politics, how the koreans celebrate the New Year..etc.. and after few servings of tempura and sushi..we shyly asked MD on our luck in getting the performance bonus for this year eventho, we know by heart already that we not gonna get as much as previous years. So, moral of the story, we are lucky enough that there are no pay cut, still get our wages full and in time and the company is still able to give us the additional bonus despite the current situation. Alhamdullilah and its really something to look forward too.. :)

Nevertheless, this "quietness" also helps me finish up few pending works before end of January without interruption from the others! Another two more to days to enjoy before all of them stomp back to their seats after the long holidays.

Well, yesterday we spent the whole day out of the house. Macam lepas geram la pulak since Saturday terperam dok rumah jek. So, yesterday's first stop: GEM (i heart this place). Hariz still has to go for his computer class eventho students x ramai yg datang..and while waiting mummy sempat rembat satu tudung kat D'Rias. a bit pricey but hey it suits me well. Muka gue nih susah sket kalau nak pakai tudung2 yang berfashion-fashion tuh..apa nak buat muka terlebey bulat. Next stop, The Curve. Pergh..lama sey tak pegi sini. Surprisingly, ramai betul orang dok shopping2..we tot orang sume dah balik kampung n the mall senyap sunyi..it proves us wrong. Ni sume kes shopping last minute la nih. Masuk Ikea also the same thing. Ramainya orang. And the Chinese also ramai. eh dorang x pegi makan busat ke ek? Masa kat parking dah siap2 nak balik, daddy noticed one of our tyres puncture. Adeh...time2 orang dah x bukak workshop ni lah dia nak pancit gitu. Merata tempat kita orang g carik workshop mane lah tau kut2 ade yang service kete last2 minute gaks macam shopping last minute kan. Alhamdullilah jumpa gak satu workshop nih kat area Sri Gombak. Hah ko..panjang betul paku tuh. We passed by this area since kita gune the new HiWay DUKE...seriously laju n cepat. Yela kalau baru sume laju n cepat kan..n furthermore toll pun still free. Berdesup je lah. And last stop is JJ Setiawangsa. Sebab Daddy dah janji nak bawak Hariz pg main kan..so terpaksa lah di kotakan janjinya tuh...On the way nak pg makan, boleh lak terjumpa makcik nih....

At last...after looking hi n low for these two books.. managed to grab the last copy of New Moon at Times Bookstore, Cap. Square. Pergh..what a release..if not i have to wait another 2 weeks or more..mana boleh tahan sey! Apa lagi bila amoi tu cakap.."kak, ni last copy tau..u mau ka?" What kind of question is that??..New Moon??...Mesti Mauuuu...macam iklan Twisties la pulak..Bila dapat petang semalam sungguh teruja nak start baca..ingatkan after Hana sleep nak baca..aisey..time2 gini la pulak dia nak tido lambat..then, kasi dia guling2..golek2 sorang atas katil..waahh sibuk nak amik Mummy's new book.. no..no..no baby...betapa susahnya Mummy nak dapat this book senang2 jek awak nak banjirkan dengan air liur awak tu yek...citt..

As for Eclipse, i got it at Popular, Bangunan Lee Rubber. They still have 9 books in store. So, cepat2 chop dulu. Ni stock tuk CNY nanti. So, daddy nanti silalah jaga si kenit 2 orang tu while mummy busy habiskan 2 buku ni ye. Luv u!

Pineapple soup???

Actually this entry dah lama dok terperam dalam draft until today i baru perasan.

In a car, on the way back from Maktok's house...

Mummy: Abang, what did u had for lunch today at school? Maktok cakap awak balik school lapar nak makan? According to Maktok, bila sampai je rumah terus serbu atas meja, sometimes the breaded chicken ball tu dia leh makan sampai 12 biji. Lepas mandi petang, makan nasi lagi. Kebulur anak mummy nih.

LR: Makan..roti....makan biskut....(abang ni ada problem makan/kunyah slow, play wif his fud/tengok orang so, other ppl dah habis makan dia still playing wif his fud)

Mummy: hah! makan roti and biskut je? betul ke? (normally his school provide snacks and lunch)

LR: Ye lar !! (dengan hi pitch and muka yg masam)

Daddy: Ok nanti Daddy call and tanya your teacher, k?

Mummy: (still not satisfied with his answer..) Bang...so, lunch awak makan nasi tak? ke meehon soup?

LR: Takkkkk...saya makan roti dengan soup....(ni nada nak marah la nih)

Mummy:(oohh ada soup pulak)...awak makan roti dengan soup? soup apa, bang?

LR: P I N E A P P L E S O U P.

Mummy & Daddy: huh! pineapple soup? sedap ke? Ye ke pineapple soup? what colour is your soup? Sedap tak?

LR: Brown..(suara dah boring dah nih) Sedaapppp...

Mummy & Daddy: Brown? mushroom soup kut? ke carot bang? bla...bla....

And all the questions we asked him, tak berjaya mendapat sebarang jawapan yang tepat...until recently during the parent teacher conferencing(13/3/09) Daddy asked his teacher for their lunch menu....ahaa....yupp...its mushroom soup indeed. Mamat tu bila kite kata mushroom soup..bukanlah...itula..inilah...ish. Pahtu bila Mummy cakap nanti mummy masak mushroom soup for him terus cakap dia x suke soup tuh...cizz cake betul. He's a very fussy eater. Susah betul kalau nak introduce new food to him..but bila dah suka tu...asyik nak makan yang tu jek.

Akikah for Hana and Imran

This is last year's story...cheh..macam lama sangatlakan...hiks..balik pun end of Dec. 08. We decided to do Akikah Lembu instead of kambing. Share portion dengan Ngah. So, nanti Hana & Imran bolehla share tunggang lembu kat akhirat nanti yek. Hariz dulu we all akikahkan 2 ekor kambing. Now berape ek harga seekor kambing? Dulu my late FIL ada bela kambing so bolehla buat akikah cucu2 dia. Merasa la, 3 orang cucu2 dia nih. Alhamdullilah.

Menu for the day, of coz la sumenye ada unsur2 daging lembu kan..adei..ni yang payah makan daging..tak tahan tu asyik jek nak lekat celah gigi..tensen tul. Dahla lupe nak bawak my dental floss. Hmm...sungguh x leh tahan...sampai naik luke lidah..hiks...Fresh tau rasa daging yang baru di lapah nih..tu yang bila makan tak ingat yang kes lekat celah gigi tuh..bile dok sesaje lepas kenyang perut tuh la baru menggangu konsentrasi time senggang.

Aisay...dah pakaikan baju pink and also ade headband pun ada orang tanya.."ni hok tino ko jate?" adeh...konpius acik...This is Hana's first long distance journey..balik Kelantan weii...lama tu drive dok dalam kete..tu tak kire yang sesat barat bila nak amik alternative road..relax daddy ek..next year insha allah kita x sesat lagi. But overall, alhamdullilah makcik kecik nih ok..but comparing to her brother last time...dia ni cepat bosan dok dalam baby seat dia tuh..lagi satu jam nak sampai kampung tatami, mummy kene hold her..and she dok la melompat sakanl..main bubble la...n babble sorang2 dia. Terus book Wan Mah urut the next day. Lega rasa badan. This time, we all x pegi pun Rantau Panjang. Elokla tuh jimat sket duit..ngeah ngeah ngeah..ye la tuh jimat...dalam x pegi memane pun leh kirim memacam kat Acu...Niat di hati nak carik tilam macam rumah Onggek tuh..Pergi Wakaf Che Yeh...hampress...dia bukak malam..we ols sampai petang...dahla hujan lebat..so kaedahnya..balik lepak rumah jek...Takpa raya tahun ni turn balik Kelantan..harus ku terjah 2 tempat nih. Tungguuuuuuuu......

Melampau tau..

I really dont understand, some of these peoplekan ..kena ke nak ketuk kepala baru jalan buat keje? semua nak kene spoon feed. Takkan everything orang kena buat for you..paham2 sendirilah kan. Sekali sekala tu takpelah..kalau selalu sangat tuh memangla nak kene backhand dengan gua. Bagi hint pun tak paham, hah jangan sampai gua meletup baru lu orang terhegeh hegeh nak buat. Lagi satu, please treat your office belongings like you treat yours at home. Agaknya kat rumah pun sama..sepah tak terurus gak. Lepas guna silalah letak balik kat tempat asal. Ni terbukak sane..bersepah sini. Sengal tul. Angin jek gua. Or maybe its not your job, so you refuse/berkira-kira to do it? Habis nak tunggu office ni terbakar baru nak gembleng tenaga sesame? kirim salam la lu!

Lembap or Lambat???

This morning, in our bedroom.....Daddy dear is struggling to get Little Ranger inside the bathtub for his morning shower.

Daddy : Ok abang...cepat mandi...cepat boleh watch tv.

LR : Alaaaaaaaa...nak tengok tv dulu...tak nak mandi..
sambil merengek2 ngade tuh..

Daddy : Kalau macam ni..tak yah mandi...
biar dia pergi school tak mandi...tula orang suruh tido 9pm..nak tengok Tom & Jerryla...bla...bla...bla...

LR : Ala....Daddy mandikan LEMBAP...dgn muka yg muncung mengade tuh

Mummy & Daddy cannot stop laughing...kehkehkeh...Lembap di katanya daddy dia mandikan...actually he's confused between Lembap and Lambat. Tapi pagi tadi terus macam tak jadi jek nak marah..muahahaha..daddy lembap. sian daddy.

When she drools like there's no tomorrow...

Hana has been drooling buckets now..gosh..i have to put the bib all the time and also change her outfit. Guess she's teething now since she also gnawing on our fingers whenever she gets the chance...hmmm yummylicious gitu tengok cara dia kerjakan jejari kami nih...hmm also whatever that catches her attention..sume tidak dilepaskan..habis masuk mulut and all the saliva will be all over...erghh..

Not to mention, my hair has dropped A LOT..sabar jeklah ...last monday i cut my hair bobcut style..senang sket nak uruskan and also dah beli sume tonic ans shampoo bagai...arghh...siap buat scalp treatment lagi. So that, the tonic can be well absorbed to the scalp. We'll see whether this tonic really helps. But sometimes i wonder...what is the connection between baby's saliva drooling and mummy's hair dropping?!? Anybody can help me here?

The funny part is whenever we feed her baby's food, it will be extra watery..mana taknya..campur dengan air liur dia tuh..masuk jek dalam mulut keluar balik dengan her drools..kehkehkeh...yupp she's already on solid food now..nampak sudu jek terus kepala towards the sudu tau jek makan time..aishh anak mummy nih.
